Why I'm Glad JFK Had Affairs

I know it was before your time, but there was once a thing called the cold war. And it raged in the 60s. People, reasonable people, had every expectation that big atomic bombs would fly around between us and the USSR (look it up).

So this was a tense time. And it would take only one tense moment and the world could quickly become a very different, and likely much worse, place to live.

At the risk of sounding, um, indelicate, I believe in situations like that you want a man in charge who is having enough, um, of a reason to want to stick around for a good long while.
